Resources and Events

We believe survivorship starts the day you are diagnosed with cancer. We help you adjust to various changes in your life during and following treatment.

To help you access information and connect with others going through similar experiences, we offer lending libraries and support groups.

Referrals can be made for acupuncture, therapeutic massage, nutrition consultation, social work and spiritual support. If you are interested in any of these offerings, let your doctor know.

Our navigation team will help you and your family access these services, as well as others you may need. Download the Patient and Family Guide to Services and Resources.

Oncology nurse navigators

Our oncology nurse navigators are registered nurses who provides patients with information to help them understand their disease and treatment. The oncology nurse navigators focus on breast cancer, prostate cancer, and lung cancer with support for other cancers. They may, for example, initiate contact with new patients prior to their first visit to the Cancer Center to help answer questions and coordinate the logistics of their upcoming treatment. The oncology nurse navigators also serve as facilitator for several of the support programs and classes offered to patients and their families at the Cancer Center.

The oncology nurse navigators arrange cancer screening clinics throughout the year and develop educational programs for local schools and other community settings.
