Tarzana Reimagined
Transforming health care delivery and advancing access to world-class, care close to home
With the help of neighbors like you, we have raised 100 percent of our campaign funding for the Tarzana Reimagined project. We launched this project in 2016 to extend our legacy and expand Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center even further with an ultramodern, full-service health care campus that offers incredible care, incredibly close to home.
Tarzana Reimagined was a significant investment in our medical center that will improve access to care and meet the growing health care needs of the communities in the San Fernando Valley and neighboring areas. It is the largest health care construction project ever undertaken in the Valley.
Our new state-of-the-art Friese Family Tower combines modern technology and design with personalized, compassionate care. A first highlight of Tarzana Reimagined, the Friese Family Tower was made possible by more than $100 million in community support, including a remarkable $50 million gift from Don and Andrea Friese. This donation marks the largest ever to a Providence hospital in California and is among the largest across the 52-hospital health system.
Our new facility brings our community a unique healing environment with an expanded emergency room, spacious private patient rooms, outdoor garden, and inspirational art from some of the most talented artists in Los Angeles.
We continue to need your help
As we move into the next phase of Tarzana Reimagined, we are bringing new levels of service to the Valley. We will break ground in 2024 with five new operating rooms, including a hybrid surgical suite and an advanced diagnostic and treatment center.
Renovating and expanding this hospital is a critical investment in Tarzana’s future. As a not-for-profit organization, we can’t do it alone. To ensure the very best in health care, it’s going to take a community. Join us
