Child Life Internship and Practicum

Sacred Heart Children's Hospital hosts biannual practicum and internship experiences for university-affiliated students. We accept one practicum student and one intern per session, occurring in fall and winter/spring.

Our programs offer rich and diverse opportunities for both observational and hands-on learning, under the supervision and mentorship of experienced Certified Child Life Specialists. Both the practicum and internship programs follow the ACLP recommended application deadlines, found on the ACLP website.
