Maternal Mental Health Program
Providence is committed to helping women experiencing emotional, social and psychological challenges during and after pregnancy. Our focus is prevention and early intervention.
If you or a loved one is struggling with maternal depression, anxiety, family conflicts or other stressors, or if you would like to seek treatment, please call The Maternal Mental Health Program: 714-771-8101. There is a licensed mental health professional available to provide support for you and your family.
The Maternal Mental Health program, offered through St. Joseph Hospital of Orange, provides a safe environment for mothers to discuss their feelings, thoughts and concerns with other mothers and professionals.
The program includes:
- Individual and group counseling sessions, including a bilingual/bicultural therapist
- New Mothers Group
- Continuing Mothers Group
- Postpartum Dads Group
