This support group meets meets every other month on the odd months. Please visit our events listing for upcoming dates, times and location.
Our support group has a team of trained ostomy visitors. Our team members are available to call on fellow ostomates upon their request for either pre- or post-operative visits.
Many have found that a visit from a trained ostomy visitor has helped start them back on the road to everyday living. By means of the visitation program, new ostomates realize that they are not unique in their situation and learn to cope with their new lifestyle with minor adjustments. All information you provide to your visitor is held in strict confidentiality.
Our support team works together with the clinical staff at Kadlec Regional Medical Center to provide optimal care.
Wayne Pelly is the visitation chairperson and can be reached at 509-943-3223.
Kadlec Neurological Resource Center also offers support groups for those living with neurological disorders and their caregivers. Find a support group for a variety of conditions like Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's and dementia, chronic pain and stroke.
