Providence Hospital at Home

Quicklinks
High quality, compassionate care, delivered in the comfort of your home.

Providence Hospital at Home provides patients with certain health conditions the choice to receive hospital-level care at home instead of in the hospital. Patients are recommended for the program by a doctor, such as the emergency room provider.

With Providence Hospital at Home, patients receive safe, excellent, and personal care in the comfort and familiar surroundings of their home. People who receive hospital care from their home often find the care experience more satisfying. Additionally, they tend to recover faster and decrease their likelihood of going back to the hospital.

Patient Testimonials

It was a great program and I’m glad it’s an option and will help free up hospital beds for others who might need them.

Providence Patient

The technology worked very well and all the doctors, nurses and physical therapist we talked to were very helpful, knowledgeable and caring individuals.

Providence Patient
“I have often wished in the past 10 years that I could get my IV fluids and antibiotic treatments at home but have had to accept the fact that, until now at least, only the hospital could do this. Now the "Hospital at Home" program holds out the hope my wish may come true. When I first learned about this program, I discussed it with Dr. David Ward, my urologist. He agreed with me that, in his professional judgement, I am an excellent potential candidate for the program.”

This program gave me the best of both worlds. I could drink as much water as I wanted, pet my dog, relax on my comfy couch instead of a hard gurney, watch stupid tv shows, and joke with my husband, all while getting inpatient-level treatment. My Care Team responded more quickly than inpatient nurses can answer a Call Button. Every question I had was immediately answered, and everyone was so nice they almost brought me to tears.
