PMG Walla Walla recruits record number of providers in 2024

Providence Medical Group Walla Walla achieved a significant milestone in 2024 by recruiting a record number of healthcare providers.

Our 2024 recruitment not only surpasses previous recruitment records but also addresses critical access issues in various specialties. 

"The recruitment of 21 providers in 2024 beats our prior highwater mark by a large amount," said Dr. Timothy Davidson, Chief Medical Officer for PMG Walla Walla. "Some recruited providers are in specialties with longstanding access issues and where we had been recruiting for over two years."

PMG also increased the number of advanced practice providers. This will allow us to improve access in specialty areas that can’t support the addition of a full-time physician, he noted.

PMG is continuing to prioritize recruitment in critical need areas, particularly medical oncology and gastroenterology, to better serve our community.
