Skilled Nursing Neighborhoods
Welcome to the neighborhood!
Skilled nursing neighborhoods are clusters of private and shared rooms for about 20 residents who will benefit from 24-hour nursing care. Providence Mount St. Vincent is nationally recognized as setting the standard in resident-directed care.
Each neighborhood is decorated in its own color scheme and decor. Like most homes, the focus of each neighborhood is a large kitchen/dining/family area which serves as the central gathering spot for meals and activities. Resident rooms allow privacy and meeting areas provide companionship, activity and community. Residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms to make themselves feel at home and to reflect their passions and personalities.
Program Goal
The goal of the neighborhood care team is to respond to each resident's needs and personal choices. Each staff member is there to honor the dignity and individuality of each resident, and to make every effort to encourage and help restore wellness as well as provide compassionate care, comfort and support.
