Pharmacotherapy Clinic
Pharmacotherapy is a model of care that is especially helpful for patients managing long-term diseases. It adds a clinical pharmacist to your care team, who will work with your medical team to effectively manage your medication. Our clinical pharmacists have advanced clinical training for monitoring medications for your safety and well-being.
- Review of all medications for safety, drug interactions & side effects
- Patient education on your medication and how it is administered
- Education and administering injectable medications
- Education about immunizations and reminders on when these are due
- Work with your physicians to change your medications to meet your personal needs
- Help with insurance approval and access to payment assistance
- Reminders for when lab work is due and monitoring labs once they have resulted
- Prompt protime INR fingerstick test results for patients anticoagulated with warfarin

Bring all your medications and supplements that you are taking and information about your health history. If you have difficulty understanding medical instructions or directions, please bring a family member or caregiver who can help you.
Our appointments are mostly for information and medication management. At some appointments, we will do a fingerstick, blood pressure check and occasionally an injection.
Most appointments take about 15 minutes, but for more complex conditions, they can last up to an hour. Wait times are generally 15 minutes after check-in.
Most insurances cover our service. If yours does not provide coverage, we will notify you in advance when possible.
You can park in our lot, just outside of the clinic. A wheelchair ramp is there if you need it.
