The Padova Library and Resource Center, a self-service health center, has all the information you need to keep you well-informed throughout your recovery process with reliable, up-to-date medical information. We offer a small core collection of reference books and a wide range of health resources on the most common health topics. There are two computers and a printer available as well.
Our library is located on the first floor of The Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment, to the left of the main entry doors just across from the main patient waiting area.
About us
The Padova Library and Resource Center is named in honor of Dr. James and Marilyn Padova for the inspirational charitable gift they made to St. Joseph Hospital in 2006 in support of the fundraising campaign to help build the Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment. Dr. Padova, oncologist and emeritus physician with St. Joseph Hospital, played a strong leadership role in the development of the cancer center. His wife, Marilyn, a cancer survivor, was an active volunteer with the Foundation for many years, helping to create and co-chair the annual Fashion Show, which continues to raise money each year for the hospital’s cancer programs.
