Good emotional health is essential to your physical well-being. When emotional or behavioral problems impair your daily activities and mental wellness, intensive outpatient psychiatric care can help. Through our mental health services at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, we provide care in a compassionate and supportive healing environment.
Our mental health specialists diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including:
- Anxiety
- Bipolar disorder
- Depression
- Dual diagnosis conditions
- Emotional pain
- Extreme stress
- Major depressive disorder
- Mood instability
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder
- Schizophrenia
- Post-traumatic stress disorder
We offer two levels of outpatient treatment programming: the partial hospitalization program and the intensive outpatient program. We provide specialty tracks to address your needs and care goals.
Our programs are accredited by The Joint Commission.
Our intensive outpatient treatment program reduces your symptoms and improves your ability to take part in your regular daily activities. We provide personalized psychiatric evaluation, therapeutic treatment and skill-building. You receive care three hours a day, up to five days a week.
If you are leaving inpatient care or need more structure and support, our partial hospital program can help. We provide intensive treatment in a caring and comfortable environment. You receive structured, goal-oriented care six hours a day, up to five days a week. You return to your home and family at night.
We understand how living with chronic pain or a disabling illness can impact your life and your family. Your care team includes specialists in medicine, occupational therapy, psychology, social work and substance abuse. We create a personalized care plan for you that includes coping skills, education and stress reduction.
This form of therapy gives you skills to decrease conflicts in your relationships and manage painful emotions. DBT works well as a treatment for self-destructive behaviors and suicidal thoughts.
If you or a loved one are living with a mental health condition plus alcohol or substance abuse, our dual diagnosis program offers hope. We provide individual and group therapy. Topics we cover include:
- Coping techniques
- Goal setting
- Mental illness education
- Relapse prevention strategies
Mental health complications such as depression are common among seniors. Our welcoming program encourages you to be active in your care. We address:

We provide mental health services to any patient who self refers or is recommended by a doctor, family member or friend. Most insurance plans, including Kaiser and Medicare, are accepted.
When you leave our program, your care team refers you to outpatient psychiatrists and other community resources so you can receive ongoing support. You may also attend our weekly aftercare program for free.
