Our Programs and Services
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is hospital-based day treatment for children 10 to 17 years old. The therapist-led program provides children with intensive therapeutic treatment five days a week.
The Partial Hospitalization Program is for children:
- Who are at risk of being of hospitalized for inpatient treatment
- Who have been hospitalized for inpatient treatment and are now moving to our Partial Hospitalization Program
To enroll, parents or guardians will provide a history of the child’s mental and physical health. Once complete, we will work with your insurance company to obtain authorization. This can take one to 10 days depending on the insurance company’s response.
Upon insurance approval, the Behavioral and Emotional Skills Training (BEST) department will schedule the start date and location and will determine the hours and number of days the child will attend.
The services provided include:
- Group therapy sessions run by a licensed therapist
- Individual therapy
- Family therapy
- Medication management appointments with a psychiatrist
Children will bring their own lunch and will eat together.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a hospital-based program led by therapists. It provides intensive therapeutic treatment for youth ages 10 to 17, three days a week.
The Intensive Outpatient Program is for youth who:
- Require more intensive care than outpatient services alone
- Have been in our Partial Hospitalization Program and are moving to less intensive therapy

The Relational Health Center offers therapy to children while they are at school through videoconferencing with Zoom. Counseling in this setting provides convenient access to our therapists and cuts down on disruptions to a child’s school day. It can also help a child function better at school.
Consultations for Clinicians
The Relational Health Center is part of the Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN). Child psychiatrists in the network provide real-time support to frontline clinicians caring for children and teens. Our psychiatrists consult with pediatricians and primary care physicians to clarify a child’s diagnosis, evaluate treatment options and discuss potential medications.
