Laboratory - Providence Health Park
Laboratory - Providence Health Park
Doctors sometimes need blood samples to diagnose an illness or to determine how treatments are working. These samples are analyzed in a lab to provide the information your doctor needs. If your doctor asks you to provide a blood sample, the most convenient place for your blood draw may be at the Providence Health Park Laboratory.
The expert phlebotomists have the skills and experience to draw your blood with minimal pain. Even if your veins are hard to find and you’ve had difficult experiences with blood draws, you can expect the highest level of care at our Patient Service Center. You can also expect your blood draw to proceed quickly, so you can get back to your daily activities.
The Alaska Laboratory Network is dedicated to serve as the primary resource for clinical laboratory services and educational programs in laboratory medicine. Offering state-of-the-art technology, laboratories within the network play a key role in the health care of Alaskans through quality clinical expertise and timely, cost-effective and integrated testing.
The network is comprised of professional, highly trained and dedicated staff members ready to meet your needs. Our team includes board certified pathologists, administrative and divisional directors, managers and supervisors, medical and research technologists, technicians and support personnel. We are responsive and courteous while meeting client needs and making patient care our first priority.
Outpatient phlebotomy services are available at all Providence Patient Service Centers and the Main Laboratory. The Patient Service Centers are designed to serve the outpatient population, and we recommend that patients use any of the Patient Service Centers rather than the Main Laboratory during normal business hours.
