Our state-of-the-art imaging services allow our doctors to observe how your body systems are operating and diagnose medical conditions while keeping you as comfortable as possible.

Services

At Diagnostic Imaging at Providence Southgate Medical Park, we offer safe and convenient diagnostic imaging services, including:

• DEXA (bone density scan)
• X-ray

We also provide on-site treatment for conditions such as fractures (bone breaks) and can assess osteoporosis and other bone-related conditions.

Body Composition Testing

Our body composition scan can help you understand and track your body’s composition with precision. This scan can help:

• Empower you to set, track and achieve fitness goals
• Measure visceral fat to assess disease risk
• Monitor fat loss (not just weight loss) to track fitness progress accurately
• Maintain motivation by tracking your metrics and progress consistently
• Track changes in muscle mass as part of a comprehensive health overview

Each scan typically takes 15-20 minutes to complete.

After your scan, you’ll receive a printout of your assessment. You can choose to have your results sent to your medical record for future reference.

Scheduling and payment for Body Composition Testing

Call us to schedule your body composition scan. Walk-ins are also welcome between 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. You must be at least 20 years old to self-refer for a body composition scan. For safety reasons, we do not perform scans on pregnant individuals.

Insurance usually doesn’t cover this service, and payment is required at the time of your appointment. We accept card payments only — no cash. An individual, initial scan is available for $95 with $75 follow-up scans. You may also purchase a three-scan package for $225 with the flexibility to use each scan whenever you’re ready.

Records Requests

For your convenience, we provide forms to request copies of your diagnostic images.

• Use the Imaging Records Release form if you’d like your diagnostic imaging data and reports released to another medical facility.
• Use the Imaging Records Pick-Up form to authorize someone else to pick up your diagnostic imaging data and reports.
