P.K. Khurana
P.K. Khurana serves as chief strategy and growth officer for Providence. He is responsible for overall growth and strategic planning for the organization, with a focus that includes partnerships, as well as care delivery and system positioning. Additionally, P.K. oversees the Providence Global Center in Hyderabad, India, a leading global services provider built to accelerate health system transformation, and serves as Providence St. Joseph Health Network chief executive.
Since joining Providence in 2012, P.K. has led the formation of direct-to-employer contracts with companies like Whole Foods, established an exclusive arrangement with Oscar Health Plan across Southern California for small employer coverage, and served as the lead on numerous joint ventures, such as Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center.
Prior to this role, P.K. served as chief strategy officer, care delivery for Providence, chief strategy officer for Providence’s South Division (California), chief administrative officer of Los Angeles Medical Group Foundations, and vice president of strategy and planning for Facey Medical Foundation. Before Providence, P.K. worked in consultant roles at Little Company of Mary Hospital and Kaiser Permanente.
P.K. holds a master’s in health administration and a bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of Southern California.
