Providence Peter Claver House is located in the New Holly neighborhood in southeast Seattle. Formerly known as Holly Park, the community was first built in the 1940’s to house defense workers and veterans. A decade later it was converted into public housing. In 1995 the aging buildings were removed to allow new mixed-income housing to fill the neighborhood.
Providence Peter Claver House opened in 2001 in the hub of the Seattle Housing Authority’s Hope VI redevelopment project. We’re proud to be part of this thriving and diverse community. In fact, New Holly is often called “the most diverse zip code in America” where a little bit of every culture is represented.
With easy access to transportation you’ll have no trouble getting around town to run errands or to enjoy all Seattle has to offer. The Link Light Rail Othello Station and a bus stop are both just one block away.
Another perk when you live at Providence Peter Claver House is access to great outdoor spaces. We’re right by the John C. Little Sr. Park where you can enjoy picnic shelters, a plaza and a community garden.
